Vision
The New Mexico Ethics Alliance seeks to make New Mexico a better place to live and do business, because individuals and organizations exhibit the highest ethical standards and conduct.

Mission
The New Mexico Ethics Alliance seeks to foster and sustain ethical cultures and conduct within New Mexico communities, businesses, organizations and governments by providing and supporting:
• Ethics standards
• Ethics education, learning opportunities and awareness
• Resources to support organizational needs, and
• Recognition of ethical behavior

Values
These values express how the Alliance strives to conduct and perform Alliance business. We have a total commitment to these values. They shape the way we do business for our employees, our board of directors, our volunteers, our partners, our members, our customers and our organization.

Of Character
Integrity – conduct and express ourselves in accordance with our values.
Respect and Humility – appreciate and be willing to learn from others, be open to change and recognize the need to change. Do not be too proud to look inward.
Honesty and Trust – communicate truthfully, sincerely and authentically. Place confidence in others.
Equity and Fairness – treat others justly, without bias and based on the facts.

Guiding Principles
The following set of principles guide the delivery of the services offered through the New Mexico Ethics Alliance.

Effectiveness - The Alliance is a learning organization that will seek out the most current information and employ the best practices in organizational ethics. Ongoing assessment and evaluation will be conducted to assure offerings are consistent with our mission and affect change.
Relevance – Services will offer practical assistance of the highest quality that considers the short term and long term needs of our stakeholders. Multiple levels of services will be offered in a tiered approach to assure that members receive the resources and information that is appropriate and relevant for their organization.
Focus on the whole – The Alliance will share information widely with the intent to help everyone understand how they work together to make the whole successful. This includes seeking broad-based clientele and membership, providing information and resources organization-wide, training front line staff to head office executives, and advocating for the strategic integration of ethics throughout the organization.
